Kirtan Kala Kendra

Kirtan Kala Kendra is a sister organization of Kirtan Foundation for research, studies and training on Sattriya dance, Music, folk dance and different folk musical instrument.

Kirtan Kala Kendra, an institute of Sattriya dance and music which was established by Smt. Usha Rani Baishya in 1997. Smt. Usha Rani Baishya was recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Yuva award and prominent name in the field of Sattriya dance & studies on different aspects of Sattriya culture.

Objective of Kirtan Kala Kendra

Kirtan Kala Kendra was established with the objective of preserving and propagating Sattriya Sanskriti and socio-cultural teachings of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva among the young minds through teaching Sattriya dance and music in a traditional method.
